Designing a washroom of a shopping mall, does not sound as significant as any retail parts of the main area, yet it is the heart and core of a shopping mall. It reaches visitors of all genders and age group. Detailed attention is to be made in all criteria to provide a perfectly well-balanced design between aesthetic look and practical function. Meticulous care was studied to make sure every move of the 5-8 mins journey is flawless and enjoyable. It is a public communal space, yet it is a peaceful personal pit stop.  

 

 

Overall, the whole project of revamping the whole series of Hysan Place washrooms is to create a refreshing and surprising new image to the audience. With small details from the signage, we designed the signs to be unconventional and interactive to the users, creating a friendly, pleasant and joyful experience, which you will carry that smile away with you.
